Etsy Pricing Calculator

Add your costs, add Etsy's fees (listing $0.20, transaction 6.5%, payment processing 3% + $0.25 in the US, plus 12% or 15% if the sale comes through Etsy Offsite Ads), then divide by (1 minus your desired margin). This calculator does that math for you.

A $0.20 listing fee per item, a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping (when buyer pays), payment processing that varies by country (3% + $0.25 in the US), and a 12% or 15% offsite ads fee on sales referred from Etsy's external ads.

Buyer-paid shipping is still included in the transaction, processing and applicable Offsite Ads fee base. Compare charging postage separately with including it in your item price.

Offsite Ads applies to attributed orders placed within 30 days of an ad click. The standard rate is 15%; shops that qualify after reaching $10,000 USD in item sales in any prior 365-day period pay 12%. Etsy checks on the first of each month; a newly qualified shop gets 12% from the next month. Qualification excludes separately charged shipping, gift wrap and tax. Once qualified, the 12% rate and mandatory participation remain for the lifetime of the shop, even if sales fall. Shops that have never qualified can opt out while below the threshold. Fees include item price plus charged shipping and gift wrapping, and taxes included in listing prices outside the US; US sales tax is excluded. Maximum: $100 USD per attributed order.
